Hello my students my name is Professor Cobalt I have been chosen by Mr. Kaiba to teach all of you the ways of Duel Monsters in this Academy now shall we begin our first homework of the day
Today I'm gonna talk about Fusion Now lets all learn
To Fusion Summon using Polymerization you must have the Fusion Material Monsters listed on the Fusion Monster in your hand or on your side of the field. You must then activate Polymerization, select the Fusion Monster from your Extra Deck, send the Fusion Materials to the Graveyard and Fusion Summon the monster to your side of the field.
For example, to Fusion Summon Elemental Hero Flame Wingman using Polymerization or Miracle Fusion you must have Elemental HERO Avian and Elemental HERO Burstinatrix to bring him out
Miracle Fusion- Banish, from your side of the field or your Graveyard, the Fusion Material Monsters that are listed on an "Elemental HERO" Fusion Monster Card, then Special Summon that Fusion Monster from your Extra Deck. (This Special Summon is treated as a Fusion Summon.)
why would I wanna banish my own monsters. Well here is a good reason for these type of Monsters there are some monsters that gain attack for each banished monster for a example Elemental HERO The Shining he gains 300 attack for each E-Hero monster that is banished which can work in everyone's favor if you use him right
Parallel World Fusion
Deck whose listed Fusion Material Monsters are banished, shuffle the banished Fusion Material Monsters into the Deck, then Special Summon that Fusion Monster from your Extra Deck. (This Special Summon is treated as a Fusion Summon.) You cannot Special Summon another monster(s) during the turn you activate this card.
While using this card you gotta think before you use this one IF i ever used Parallel World Fusion I would use Miracle Fusion then Parallel World Fusion. just like how i talked about some monsters gain attack for each Banished monster well sometimes its best to get more monsters out asap while doing fusion then the person you are fighting is gonna have a big problem while fighting them
Fusion Gate-While this card is on the field: Either player can Fusion Summon a Fusion Monster without using "Polymerization", but the Fusion Material Monsters are banished instead of being sent to the Graveyard.
Now this is a card I have a love/hate to it really its can help you but it also can back fire on you big time if the other player has fusion monsters to because the whole point of a Fusion deck you wanna get out all your Fusion monster out quick to win
Contact Fusion- sometimes referred to as Fusion Tag, is a different type of Fusion used by Elemental HERO Neos, VWXYZ, or by Gladiator Beasts, where the Fusion Material Monsters are sent from the field to the Deck, and "Polymerization" is not used. In the case of the "Neos" Fusion Monsters, monsters created as a result of this type of Fusion typically have an effect that returns them to the Extra Deck at the end of the turn they are Summoned.
Examples of this are the following cards.
Elemental HERO Air Neos
Elemental HERO Aqua Neos
Elemental HERO Chaos Neos
Elemental HERO Dark Neos
Elemental HERO Flare Neos
Elemental HERO Glow Neos
Elemental HERO Grand Neos
Elemental HERO Magma Neos
Elemental HERO Marine Neos
Elemental HERO Storm Neos
Contact Fusion can be considered the conceptual predecessor to the new Synchro Summoning method, since it also involves Summoning a special monster from the Extra Deck simply by having certain monsters on the field. The Contact Fusion method of the Gladiator Beasts, in particular, may have lead up to this, since their form of Contact Fusion is generally unspecific as to what monsters must be used for it, and Synchro Summoning generally only requires that a Tuner monster and monsters of the correct Level be on the field.
Rules on Contact Fusion:
1.All monsters involved in the Fusion must be on the field and cannot be substituted.
2.If a monster is face-down and you want to use it for Contact Fusion, you must show it to your opponent(s) (not flip) before moving it to its respective destination, e.g., "Elemental HERO Neos" returning to the Deck. Gladiator Beasts return to the Deck. VWXYZ and "Armityle the Chaos Phantom" monsters are banished.
3.Contact Fusion monsters can be revived from the Graveyard as long as they were Summoned by Contact Fusion first.
4.Contact Fusion is not treated as a Fusion Summon, because of this, Fusion Monsters summoned by Contact Fusion are not affected by cards like "Chthonian Polymer" and "Non-Fusion Area".
5.If a monster were to be destroyed and used in Contact Fusion, e.g., if you use "Rescue Cat" to Summon "Gladiator Beast Samnite" and use it in Contact Fusion, it stays in the Deck or remains banished.
De-Fusion
Target 1 face-up Fusion Monster on the field; shuffle that target into the Extra Deck, then, if all the Fusion Material Monsters that were used for its Fusion Summon are in your Graveyard, you can Special Summon all of them.
This card will come in handy if you do fusion because say like someone did bottomless trap hole on the fusion monster quick spell De-Fusion then that will start a chain
Now I'm gonna end my lesson right here for today I hope you learned alot about Fusion have a great day my students
